**About Elvire**

Elvire de la Roux is a highly versatile session hairstylist whose career spans editorial, fashion, music, film and red-carpet work. Beginning her journey in 1998, she built a strong foundation in cutting and styling before joining the backstage teams of the industry’s most influential hair artists, including Sam McKnight, Eugene Souleiman, Guido Palau, Anthony Turner and Matt Mulhall. Through these collaborations she contributed to shows for major fashion houses and leading international fashion and beauty publications.

Between 2014 and 2017, Elvire created looks for award-winning music artists including Rudimental, Foxes and London Grammar, while also developing a diverse editorial portfolio. She has since continued her work across the music industry, contributing to a wide range of video and performance projects, including Duran Duran and Celeste to name a few.

Following lockdown, Elvire moved into film, creating bespoke looks,including wigs, colour work and cutting for Michael Sheen and additional cast members on Last Train to Christmas. She also contributed extensively to Seize Them, developing and executing a range of cast hairstyles, including wigs, colour direction, cutting and period techniques.

Her recent credits include work at the Cannes Film Festival, grooming during the Paris Olympics, and styling for the Swiss team at Eurovision 2025. Known for working confidently across all textures, Elvire specialises in effortless yet elevated looks: soft waves, elegant up-dos, precise cuts, natural grooming, and advanced wig work, extensions and period hairstyling (including cage construction). Her range spans the understated to the avant-garde, and she is currently seeking commissions that allow her to explore more artistic, conceptual work.

Based in London, Elvire works two days a week at Gielly Green in Marylebone while pursuing editorial, red-carpet, VIP and campaign opportunities. She is open to international travel and keen to expand her creative partnerships
